AlphaESS Unveils Next-Generation C&I Energy Storage System STORION-LC-TB150 at KEY – The Energy Transition Expo

A Comprehensive Portfolio for the Energy Transition

At the exhibition, AlphaESS showcased a wide range of storage technologies addressing the growing demand for flexible energy management across multiple sectors.

Among the key highlights was the SMILE-G3 three-phase residential storage system, now available with a new 9.3 kWh battery module, offering enhanced capacity and greater flexibility for residential energy independence.

AlphaESS also introduced its latest commercial and industrial storage innovation: the STORION-LC-TB150, a liquid-cooled all-in-one battery energy storage system designed for high-performance C&I and utility-scale applications.

Introducing STORION-LC-TB150

The STORION-LC-TB150 represents a significant expansion of the AlphaESS commercial and industrial storage portfolio, complementing existing solutions such as the STORION-G2-Hybrid 30 kW and 50 kW systems.

Designed to simplify deployment and operation in large energy projects, the system integrates battery modules, thermal management, and system control within a single cabinet architecture.

Key specifications include:

• 150 kW rated power

• 313 kWh energy storage capacity

• Advanced liquid-cooling technology

• Integrated all-in-one cabinet design

The system has also been evaluated according to UL 9540A, one of the most widely recognized safety test standards for battery energy storage systems. The certification evaluates thermal runaway propagation and fire safety performance, providing additional confidence for project developers and system operators.

Designed for Scalable Industrial Energy Applications

Scalability is a core feature of the STORION-LC-TB150 architecture. Up to 25 units can be connected in parallel, enabling large-scale projects to reach:

• 3.75 MW system power

• 15.68 MWh storage capacity

This modular design allows developers and EPC partners to expand system capacity efficiently while maintaining standardized infrastructure.
