A year after Exosun became ArcelorMittal Projects Exosun, 100% owned by ArcelorMittal, the world leader of the steel industry, the company innovates and signs here the beginning of a new era.

To better fulfill its customers’ needs, ArcelorMittal Projects Exosun adds a single-row, self-powered & wireless solar tracker to its product portfolio. The company is delighted to unveil its new solar tracking solution, A-Motion, combining the best of technology & manufacturing experience.

Key features include Reliability, Flexibility & Cost effectiveness.

A-Motion has a wind-friendly design. It was dimensioned to be safe in any position: no stow position required. The company has kept its 2 girders design to limit micro-cracks & stress on modules and has added 1 actuator per post in response to dynamic forces. With this configuration, the tracker resists up to 170km/h wind in any position, not relying on other devices.
Its short row design enables easy adaptation to land geometry & topography, proposing only 1 motor per 1 to 6 tables (30 to 180m), and reduced land grading. With a limited number of components, a global supply chain with possibilities of local content and reduced O&M, the product answers the market’s needs.
ArcelorMittal Projects Exosun’s tracking solutions for utility-scale solar plants are designed to reduce costs & risks while maximizing productivity & profits.
