The company was responsible for the overall design and for providing the main components of the system, including solar panels and balance of systems. The system is estimated to generate 30 million kWh, displacing 108 tons of coal and reducing 330 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

"Not only has the project sparked the students' interest and awareness in renewable energy technology, it has also given them a more profound understanding of the importance of protecting the environment.
"Astronergy plans to collaborate with more campuses to setup such projects in order to promote the dissemination or solar PV technology and make a lasting positive impact on local communities."
