“We are pleased to have partnered with Schneider Electric to design and manufacture a Bi-Polar combiner package to support their new Xantrex GT-30 inverter. The GT-30 inverter/combiner products fill a growing need in today’s PV marketplace for innovative, cost-effective solutions,” said Mitch Schoch, president and CEO of Bentek Solar.

“The Bentek Solar Bi-Polar Combiners are specifically designed for Bi-Polar Arrays up to 500VDC. Features of the Bi-Polar combiners include a finger-safe design and options for integrated disconnect and current sense. All Bi-Polar combiners come standard with lockable NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosures and are UL1741 listed and CSA 22.2 certified,” added Jim Peplinski, chief technology officer of Bentek Solar.

“The Schneider Electric Xantrex GT30, a transformerless bipolar design, has both the best Weight to KW ratio (<6lbs per KW) and Volume to KW (<0.3 cubic ft per KW) ratio of any product on the market. Its revolutionary design allows for rapid rooftop or electrical room installation with a very small footprint,” explained Rudy Wodrich, VP Commercial Business at Schneider Electric.

Schneider Electric will launch Bentek’s Solar Bi-Polar Combiner in Booth 1211 at Solar Power International from October 12-14, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA.
