The agreement, announced today at Solar Solutions in Amsterdam, is designed to open up new growth opportunities for solar PV installers throughout Europe and cements a long-standing relationship between the two companies. The term and volume of the agreement underscores the sustained growth anticipated by both organisations in the European residential and commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors.

Immediately, it will enable CCL customers to be among the first to take delivery of Trina Solar’s newly launched n-type dual-glass Vertex S+ 505W module. Part of the all-new Vertex S+ series, the 505W module is designed to increase the profitability of C&I rooftop installations by delivering higher power output, ultra-low degradation rates, and lower BoS costs compared to p-type modules. Providing further peace of mind, all modules in the Vertex S+ range are backed with an industry-leading 30-year performance warranty.

Paul Brooks, Managing Director at CCL Energy Group, says: “Our framework agreement with Trina Solar represents a major milestone for CCL Energy and is testament to our commitment to provide our customers with class leading products that enable them to better meet the rapidly evolving needs of their customers, for increased profitability. Supplying BNEF Tier 1 recognised manufacturers is key to us maintaining our reputation and building our footprint across the European market,” he adds.

Euan Anson, Team Lead Northern Europe at Trina Solar, comments: “We are delighted to announce the framework agreement with CCL Energy which further solidifies the long-standing and highly-successful strategic partnership between our two companies.

“This kind of agreement provides enhanced forward planning visibility for both parties, which is especially relevant in times of high market demand. We look forward to providing CCL Energy’s diverse customer base even easier access to Trina Solar’s market leading product portfolio in Europe.”
