Clenergy launches utility scale mounting system for Japan

Clenergy has introduced the brand new SolarTerrace V (STV), expanding its popular PV-ezRack series of solar mounting systems.

The new system is designed for PV-deployment with panels in landscape orientation.

STV offers a wide range of adjustability and easy deployment while enabling the implementation of large arrays.

"STV is another exciting realization of our product vision and our efforts in the utility scale solar market, especially in Japan," said Mario Guzzi, Clenergy's VP of international sales and marketing.

The product "resulted from incorporating our Japanese clients' feedback and designing with developers and installers in mind," added Guzzi.

By focusing on mounting landscape panels, STV has large solar panel arrays and huge horizontal spans with up to six panels (72 cells) in a row.

Furthermore, the panel rows can be pre-assembled to the rails off-site, reducing installation time. Integrated with Clenergy's support components and fasteners, STV improves the ease and the efficiency of the installation.

"Out of STV's numerous innovations, the most important is the post head," said Thomas Gerstch, Clenergy technical manager, "Clenergy fully understands installers' needs, especially during the ramming process on site, and adjustability is the key feature of the STV post head. Its distinct design makes adjustment options in all directions possible, allowing for easier and quicker assembly."

STV debuted at PV EXPO 2014 in Tokyo, and Clenergy is proud of the good response it received from developers, EPCs and installation specialists. Consisting of just eight components, the system is available for order and the company is confident its positive feedback will continue at Clean Energy Week 2014 in Australia, from July 22 to 25 in Sydney.

Clenergy will have booth number 36.
