Conergy chairman of the supervisory board, Norbert Schmelzle said: “In his last few years with Conergy, Gorski has proven that he is capable for this new challenge. As a deputy board member, he can now carry on from these successes. We are very pleased that Mr. Gorski will support our board in this important area and that we appointed such an experienced corporate insider for this function and thus could provide continuity.”

In February 2009, Alexander Gorski joined the company as vice president supply chain management. During this time, he was instrumental in the strategic development of the optimization of the supply chain and logistics at Conergy and also played a substantial role in improving business processes. Prior to joining Conergy, he held various management positions in operations, supply chain management and sales at Siemens, Infineon and Qimonda.
