In the August edition of pv magazine, the article A view on post-FIT PV, the following statement was made:
"Yingli is also ramping up its EPC business and is closely cooperating with Wirsol to this end."
This statement is incorrect and Yingli has issued the following statement:
"Yingli Green Energy does not intent to extend their business activities in the field of EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) as our company is committed to the manufacturing of PV modules that we manufacture through our business model of full vertical integration starting from ingots to wafers, cells to the end product, PV modules."
The pv magazine editorial team wishes to apologize for any confusion the incorrect statement may have caused. The statement will also be corrected in the September edition of the magazine.
