Futter brings nearly two decades of technical and management experience to his role leading Dow Cornings Solar and Wind Energy Solutions business division.

Futter is taking over from Eric Peeters, who has provided world-class leadership of Dow Cornings Solar Solutions business since 2008, helping establish the companys position as a global supplier and innovation partner in the solar industry. Peeters has been named to lead Dow Cornings Electronics Business, building on his experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry.

Futter joined Dow Corning Corporation in 1994, and most recently served as business vice president of Dow Cornings Business and Technology Incubator (B&TI). The B&TI is chartered with discovering and building significant new business opportunities for the Corporation.
In his more than 18-year career at Dow Corning, Futter has served in various technical, commercial, business development and executive positions in the United States and Europe.
He is a board member for the Specialty Chemicals Business at Dow Corning and of the Mid Michigan Innovation Center. Futter earned a B.Sc. Hons in Biochemistry with Biotechnology from the University of Birmingham, UK.
