Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Private Limited supplies and installs photovoltaic systems to Mayura Steels Private Limited located in Kolhapur, state of Maharashtra. Emmvee installed 100kW roof top photovoltaic system for Mayura Steels under programme on Off-Grid Solar application-Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission scheme of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
Mayura Steels, established in 1983 is a renowned manufacturer of Excavator tooth points and adapters, Idlers and Sprockets. They are the single source and self certified suppliers to original equipment manufacturers in India. The 100 kW photovoltaic system is mounted directly on the roof. Emmvee has used the advanced mounting technology to not only increase the quality of the structure and its life time but also the cost effectiveness of the installation. This type of mounting is commonly used in Europe. The galvanized iron mounting structures were replaced with aluminium members to increase the life of the structure by avoiding early rusting.
To obtain an aesthetic look, normal bolting method was replaced by clamping method for mounting the modules. The generated electricity will be supplementing the conventional electrical energy used for lighting and powering the motor loads of the manufacturing plant and office.
