Saarland, 9 December 2025 – With the founding of Energieglück AI GmbH, the Energieglück Group is taking a logical step towards covering the entire value chain in the energy transition. The market-leading asset management platform ‘Energieglück+’ combines AI-supported real-time monitoring with complete operational management by its own control room – and is already in operational use.
Market-leading precision meets personal service
Energieglück+ is based on ‘Made in Germany’ digital twin technology, which achieves a top rating in the German and European market with 98% yield forecast accuracy. The platform already serves well-known customers such as Stadtwerke Göttingen. What makes it special is that, unlike pure software solutions, Energieglück+ combines fully automated AI monitoring with personal plant managers in its own control room, who coordinate maintenance and serve as direct contacts.
‘Energieglück+ enables us to manage our systems intelligently and efficiently – and communication is always transparent, solution-oriented and collaborative. This is exactly how we imagine modern asset management to be,’ confirms Bernd Schill, Head of Renewable Energies at Stadtwerke Göttingen.
‘The energy transition needs infrastructure that pays off,’ says Dr Nico Haberer, founder and CEO of the Energieglück Group. ‘With Frank Geerken, we are bringing in an experienced PV expert who knows how to keep plants economical throughout their entire life cycle. That's exactly what Energieglück+ stands for: full responsibility, not just software.’
Frank Geerken was most recently Director of Project Development EMEA at Sharp Electronics, where he was responsible for building a project portfolio of over 300 MW in Germany. His international career includes senior positions at Scatec Solar, WES Green and other leading companies with projects in Europe and Asia.
From PV to BESS: the next stage of evolution is imminent
The integration of battery storage management is imminent and closes the circle to the core competence of the Energieglück Group. In future, every BESS project developed by Energieglück will receive the digital operating infrastructure for maximum efficiency right from the start. Oliver Skadow, Technical Director of Energieglück+, brings over 15 years of expertise in digital twins and forecasting algorithms to the table and will drive technological development forward together with Frank Geerken.
The AI-supported platform fits seamlessly into the existing technology chain: from AI-based site analysis and the proprietary grid stabilisation concept ‘GridStable’ to the intelligent operation of the finished plants – everything from a single source, developed in Germany.
About Energieglück Energieglück is an independent project developer for battery energy storage solutions (BESS) based in Saarland. The company exclusively develops large-scale storage projects – both stand-alone and co-location – for its own portfolio up to construction readiness. Through the use of AI-supported process automation and the proprietary grid stabilisation concept ‘GridStable’, Energieglück is actively and technology-driven shaping the energy transition for future generations.
