Enerland Group has connected to the grid El Salvadors first photovoltaic solar park.
With a 1.4 MW potential on single axis solar trackers, Hacienda Barrio Nuevo was connected this past March by the spanish EPC company, which controls 80% of the El Salvadoran market. Another seven projects are already in progress and in April construction work began on an additional three parks.
This Spanish multi-national operates in the Philippines, Romania, Italy, Panama, Nicaragua, Brazil,Costa Rica, El Salvador and Mexico, among others, and has built an international project portfolio of more than 475 MW.
