ENERO FURNIZARE, the Romanian energy trader & developer, has received the connection approval of its second solar project 95 MW, located in Dolj county, South of Romania. The facility is made up of 158,334 bifacial solar panels and 270 solar inverters. The project is developing on approx. 99 hectares land. The land has sandy soil which is brighter compared to normal soil and ensures a better sunlight reflection effect, optimally for the application of bifacial solar panels. According to the www.enero-furnizare.com website, the project will deliver clean energy to the national grid starting with December 2024.
The ENERO company is also in progress to develop other solar projects, to reach 1,000 MW total power installed, in the South & West of Romania, where the solar irradiation is at least 1,400 MWh/MWp.
On the other hand, ENERO acquired the location through an SPV, in Targu Jiu city-ROMANIA, for the development of its first gas to power project with about 200 MW power installed, especially for balancing of the future solar power plants.
