Enertis Solar signs first contract in India

Enertis Solar has inked its first contract in India with Mahindra Company, the largest Solar EPC contractor in the country, for the Acceptance Supervision of two solar photovoltaic plants, 5MW and 15MW, in Bikaner which is located in the Rajasthan area. Enertis Solar acted as the independent engineer at both plants, developed by Fonroche, who are a specialized company in the development, manufacturing, financing, construction and operation of solar plants.

Enertis Solar has supervised the commissioning tests of both plants. The technical team of Enertis Solar has also developed the control tests implemented during the Acceptance phase, including monitoring the systems inverters, strings and the meteorological station. The tests, based on Standard IEC 61724, have the goal of overseeing the monitoring system of the solar PV plants to ensure proper operation of the facility.

The Indian market has reached 1.5GW of solar PV power. With the National Solar Mission, the experts forecast that the country could reach an installed total power of 33.4GW by 2022.

Enertis Solar is also present in Asia in other international markets including China and Kazakhstan, where there are also ambitious plans for the development of solar PV Energy.
