Mr. Wheatley and Mr. Caulson have worked together for over a decade in both publically traded and privately held companies. Together they have led both international and domestic entities to significant growth.
Envision Solar's new President and CEO, Desmond Wheatley, said, "I, like everyone associated with Envision Solar, appreciate the vision and leadership that Bob has brought to the company over the last six years. We are delighted that Bob intends to stay closely involved with our operations for the foreseeable future. At the end of the day, our great potential comes from the unique nature of our high-quality products.
"Bob invented the Solar Tree structure which has become iconic in the solar shaded parking industry. He had the vision to see that it needed to track the sun and recognized the value of integrating EV charging infrastructure well before anyone else did. These paradigm shifting and proprietary products set us apart from the competition and have created the foundation from which we will continue to build a great company. I am excited about the opportunities that lie in front of us and look forward to continuing to create shareholder value at Envision Solar."
Founder Robert Noble, stated, "Desmond, as President and COO, has, for more than a year, built Envision Solar's powerhouse operational capability and has been key to the invention and development of innovative technology and intellectual property which is central to our business. In addition, his international project deployment experience will prove to be highly valuable as we replicate our model worldwide. We are fortunate to have him leading Envision into this next stage of significant growth and expansion."
