European Energy connects 10 MW solar farm in Denmark

After less than nine month of construction time, European Energy has completed and connected the 10 MW solar farm Rødkilde located near the Danish city of Svendborg.

The solar farm has been under construction since March 2021 and will be able to deliver the electricity consumption of more than 2.000 households.

– December will be a month where we will have a lot of projects connected to the grid. Rødkilde Solar Park has been done in cooperation with Rødkilde Gods which is an innovative Danish estate that is 100 % CO2-neutral in production of heating and electricity, says Knud Erik Andersen, CEO of European Energy.

At the end of Q3 2021, European Energy had 27 projects under construction in seven countries. European Energy is expected to meet its target at the end of the year with EUR 80 million in EBITDA and EUR 50 million in profit after tax.
