EUROSOL has completed the installation and commissioning of the first PV powered E-Vehicle Charging Station in Kifissia (Athens), at the premises of Mercedes Benz Hellas SA.
The station was designed and engineered by EUROSOL and is intended for charging the smart electric drive vehicles and smart e-bikes.
At the heart of the hybrid system lies a BYD Distributed Energy Storage System (DESS) for RES energy storage, integrating bidirectional inverters with appropriate electronics, a Battery Management System and battery banks based on LiFePO4 technology.
A remote monitoring and control system has been installed to manage the facility operation and assist the fine-tuning during the pilot operation phase.
The system is designed to be expandable and will fully support three concurrent charging posts in its final configuration.
The equipment for the three terminals on the EV charging end is supplied by KEBA AG.
