Modules laminated with this new encapsulant were successfully tested by a number of different laboratories (TÜV Rheinland, ITE Valencia and IES Technical University) under the protocols listed below, obtaining power loss below 2%.
– TÜV (-1000 V (cc), 168 hours, room temperature, covered with aluminium foil)
– ITE (-1000 V (cc) 168 hours, 25 ° C, 85% humidity)
– ITE (-1000 V (cc), 48 hours, 85 ° C, 85% humidity)
– IES (-1000 V (cc), 330 hours, room temperature, covered with aluminium foil)
All Solarcap films, including the new PID FREE encapsulant, are formulated in order to get the maximal photo-thermal stability (avoid yellowness), very high light transmission and a maximum adhesion to the Glass/Cells/Backsheet.
In addition, Solarcap® films are characterized by having almost no shrinkage, thereby eliminating undesirable gapvoids and shifting of the cells/strings during the lamination process. This allows cutting of the films closer to the final size, resulting in the use of less material per module. SOLARCAP films are certified by TÜV Rheinland and by UL
Since its foundation in 2006, the EVASA Team has worked continually to offer its customers solutions that allow their modules to stand out for their efficiency, reliability and durability. In our aim to improve the properties and performances of our products, we continue to develop new encapsulants that are capable of meeting the most demanding expectations.
"Success can be achieved by obtaining extraordinary things, but never without doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. Our mission is to stand out for our innovation, our quality guarantee, the homogeneity of our products and our short delivery time" says José María Gonzalez Pardo, CEO of Evasa.
