FormSolar, a leading commercial solar energy provider, has completed the installation of a ground-mounted solar PV system for Antalya and Dalaman Airports in Turkey.
The solar energy projects were completed by FormSolar, Ipekyuz Electric-Cetin Ipekyuz and Yingli Solar Turkey corporation.
The total energy capacity of the systems is 500 kWp. Each of the Antalya and Dalaman Airport projects have 962 panels and a total of 1,924 panels.
In the first year of operations, the systems are expected to produce approximately 796,000 kWh of clean energy to the airports.
The airport projects were requested by the General Directorate of State Airports and began in August 2013.
The solar panels were supplied by Yingli Solar Turkey. Form Solar supported ?pekyüz Elektrik, which is the owner of the project, in project management, product supply and system activation.
