In the energy product group, the Fronius Galvo and Fronius Symo Inverters scooped the award in no less than three categories: High Quality, Functionality and Ecology. The Fronius Galvo inverter was also named "best product of the year 2013".
"We are delighted to receive this award, which underlines our position as quality leader", says Martin Hackl, head of the Solar Electronics division at Fronius International.
High quality is the all-embracing seal of approval for a product. It is the sign of top quality, a long service life and sustainability. "We place high demands on the quality of our products. For this reason, they undergo tests that go well beyond the required Standards", explains Martin Hackl.
Technical innovations, performance, user-friendly operation and a well designed manual are all essential if a product is to receive this award. "Research and development, product design and technical communication go hand in hand at Fronius to guarantee the high level of functionality of our inverters", says Martin Hackl.
It is not just environmental protection that determines which product wins this award. The cost-effectiveness of an environmentally friendly product is also put under the microscope. Innovation and state-of-the-art technology have been key factors in helping the two inverters win the Plus X Award for Ecology.
Especially suited to self-consumption systemsp production of the Fronius Galvo inverter will start at the beginning of July 2013. It will be available in power categories ranging from 1.5 to 3.1 kW and can be used all over the world. An integrated energy management function makes it particularly suitable for self-consumption systems.
The compact three-phase inverter for maximum flexibility Fronius Symo is the compact three-phase inverter from Fronius. This transformerless device comes in power categories of 3.0 kW, 3.7 kW and 4.5 kW and generates the highest possible yields. The device will be available around the world from the 4th quarter of 2013 (with the exception of the USA). WLAN function ensures high flexibility.
The Fronius Galvo and Fronius Symo inverters are amongst the first to offer a built-in WLAN interface as standard.
