FuturaSun is introducing its next generation of solar module technology, replacing the typical 4-5 ribbons with 12 ribbons soldering technology. The design of the 12 ribbons reduces the shading area on the cell and increases the light absorbing. During Intersolar you’ll have the opportunity to see this technological breakthrough on FuturaSun’s new high efficiency module.
FuturaSun offers the complete technology concept, starting from the development of the solar cell in close cooperation with the cell manufacturer, to the automated assembly of the module which is performed even more efficiently, with less mechanical stress and at a higher throughput.
From the initial tests, performed in cooperation with the University of Padua (Italy), very positive results have emerged. These highlight a higher current and an improved energy yield at low irradiance.
