Goal Zero, the leader in portable power, launched its Solar Ready collaboration program designed to give brands the ability to integrate Goal Zero's line of panels and power packs into future outdoor products.

“From backpacks to kayaks to tents, we’re collaborating with brands our customers already know and love,” said James Atkin, Director of Brand Marketing and Solar Ready Partnerships. “Solar Ready unlocks the ability for brands to work directly with us to create integrated products that truly allow outdoor enthusiasts to live life off the grid."

The first brand to participate in the program, Gregory Mountain Packs, has introduced the Stout and Amber Solar Ready backpacks, giving outdoor enthusiasts the first opportunity to experience a fully integrated outdoor adventure powered by the sun.

“The Stout and Amber were designed to meet the needs of the next generation of backpacker who expect to have power in the backcountry for phones, cameras, and navigation,” said John Sears, director of product development at Gregory. “Incorporating new technology has always been important to us, so a collaboration with Goal Zero and their solar technology was a perfect fit.”

Gregory is well known for its innovative pack designs that focus on fit. The Stout and Amber packs are compatible with Goal Zero's Nomad solar panels and array of portable power packs, enabling adventurers, mobile consumers and outdoor enthusiasts to take their travels to remote places without relying on a wall outlet to power their favorite devices.

“We've enjoyed working with Gregory on these first Solar Ready products,” said Atkin. “We're excited for what the future brings for Solar Ready and the creative ways brands will incorporate our technology into future outdoor and consumer products."
