Having completed a 20.93 MWp project in March 2014, this will be the largest project to date for the EPC provider. SMA inverter technology and REC modules are key components of the development. GOLDBECK Solar will be offering full EPC as well as O&M services.
GOLDBECK Solar successfully connected projects with a cumulative power of 91 MWp under the 2013/14 ROC/FiT scheme in the UK. Aside from ground-mounted systems, the company has expertise in commercial-scale rooftop projects across Europe.
In this regard GOLDBECK was presented the Intersolar Award 2014 in the category "Solar Projects in Europe," for a school and recreational center in Marienheide, Germany. The project is characterized by a unique connection of PV and a combined heat and power system (CHP). This demonstrates, once again, the companys ability to develop and deliver economic and sustainable solutions.
Commenting on the opportunities in the UK, Joachim Goldbeck, CEO of GOLDBECK Solar, stated, "As the company GOLDBECK Solar, we are well-positioned in the U.K. market to deliver ground-mounted projects as well as commercial rooftops. In both segments in the U.K., our customers can rely on our strength and know how now and in the future."
