As Carlos Martínez, Country Manager of GoodWe Iberia, points out: “Genera 2023 is an opportunity to position ourselves in the Spanish market, where we have great growth forecasts”. “Since our founding in 2010, GoodWe has been developing solutions that improve people's lives and working to achieve national targets for industrial self-consumption,” he adds.

One of GoodWe's goals is to be the ally of families to face the energy crisis in the best possible way, reducing their electricity bill thanks to its new residential solutions based on latest-generation inverters, which optimize the solar energy produced by photovoltaic modules and manage the available energy in an intelligent way. For this reason, within the residential range, GoodWe will present electric vehicle chargers, as well as the EcoSmart Home concept, a comprehensive solution that includes the inverter, batteries and communications for self-consumption installations. Specifically, the new products will be the ES G2, DNS G3 and the EV charger. GoodWe will also bring to Genera 2023 the ET30 inverter, adaptable for both residential and commercial and industrial sectors.

In relation to the C&I with storage, the main novelty will be the SMT Series of GoodWe inverters, installations suitable for medium and large-scale rooftops. In addition, the company will show the evolution of its XS PLUS+, EH PLUS+, ET PLUS+ and Lynx F PLUS+ products.

New series of storage inverters

The new ES G2 series of storage inverters is compatible with the latest generation of high-power modules and allows energy to be stored in the Lynx Home U battery during off-peak times. The Peak-Shaving function, to reduce consumption in high-cost periods, as well as the load management function to make the most of the available solar energy, raise the possibilities of family self-consumption to levels that were not possible before.

The GoodWe ES G2, EH Plus+, ET Plus+, ET30, SBP G2, BH and BT storage inverters have an AC backup line for independent power supply to a load. The switching time of less than 10 milliseconds, equivalent to uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS), thus guarantees the supply of energy, without interruption of consumption from renewable sources, in locations where the grid is affected by frequent failures or instability, a situation that is still common in the rural peninsular and island regions.

GoodWe solutions are designed for multiple scenarios, such as maximizing self-consumption to reduce the cost of energy, reducing power and energy demand in high-cost periods thanks to the Peak-shaving function, having a powerful backup of essential supply or a combination of these scenarios, depending on the needs of industrial customers. The new 50kW ETC 50kW hybrid inverter and BTC 50kW retrofit in combination with the new Lynx C commercial battery offer these and other possibilities.

If high storage capacity per inverter is required, the new ET hybrid inverters up to 30kW allow up to 262 kWh of storage capacity in combination with Lynx Home F Plus+ batteries. For scalable configurations, the ET Plus+ inverter and SEC1000S device offer the perfect solution for asymmetrical designs where different capacities must be met individually, such as different storage and backup supply capacities.

The electric vehicle is already the chosen means of transport for many families

GoodWe introduces at Genera 2023 its HCA electric vehicle charger with 7kW, 11kW and 22kW models, compatible with electric vehicles marketed in Europe. These chargers have been specially developed to be able to use available solar energy in combination with GoodWe storage inverters through solar smart operation, reducing the cost of charging and further increasing the family self-consumption factor.

Safety, a priority for GoodWe

Goodwe makes advanced AFCI protection a reality in the new inverters it is developing. This protection allows the inverter to detect and interrupt DC current in case of arcing in the PV series. In addition, LiFePO technology, used in Lynx Home U, F Plus+, Lynx C batteries, is considered the most stable and reliable for residential storage applications, with the Lynx Home F Plus+ series having obtained the demanding German VDE2510-30 certification.
