The list, officially released on December 2025, marks a national initiative to establish benchmark zero-carbon industrial parks across the country.
Located in Anhui Province, GoodWe’s Guangde facility, the company’s largest production base globally, has played a role in supporting the development zone’s inclusion through the deployment of advanced clean energy systems and carbon-reduction practices.
The zero-carbon industrial park model promotes integrated new energy systems, enabling distributed power generation, energy storage, microgrids, green power trading, and coordinated generation–grid–load–storage operations supported by intelligent control. GoodWe's long-term strategy closely aligns with this broader objective, with its Guangde facility serving as a practical demonstration of the company’s generation–grid–load–storage–intelligence approach.
At the site, GoodWe has deployed a 4.7 MW photovoltaic system that generates approximately 4.8 million kWh of green electricity annually, along with a 5,210 kWh energy storage system. An intelligent microgrid, integrated with the WE Smart Energy Management Platform, enables coordinated management of solar generation, energy storage, EV charging, and on-site electricity consumption.
By mid-2025, renewable electricity made up 41% of the facility’s total energy use, keeping the site on track to reach peak carbon emissions by 2027 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. The facility is also exploring green power trading and virtual power plant operations to further translate carbon reduction efforts into measurable environmental and economic value.
This latest achievement follows GoodWe's earlier inclusion in Anhui Province's Zero-Carbon Industrial Park initiative in 2024, highlighting the company’s ongoing role in accelerating the country’s industrial energy transition and beyond.
