In the segments Residential and Commercial being monitored by Solar-Log in 2015, GTM Research confirms the PV monitoring specialist Solar-Log as the global leader in the independent software vendor (ISV) category. In the overall-ranking across PV segments SDS took second place among ISVs.
More than 50 companies managing over 108.000 GWp in the segments Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Utility-Scale were analyzed in the report, titled Global PV Monitoring 2016-2020: Markets, Trends and Leading Players. Both the technical and economical aspects of the companies were carefully examined and compared.
With its Solar-Log monitoring system, Solare Datensysteme GmbH monitors over 10.596 GWp and 242,002 plants, at the date of the report (January), a market share of 5.7 %. The Solar-Log clearly outperforms its competitors. As for May 2016, SDS monitors a total output of 10.84 GWp from 248.101 plants worldwide.
