Handbook for Press Relations in the Solar Sector

In addition to giving special tips for press relations within the solar sector, the authors think out of the box and show examples of successful press relations from other business sectors as well.

Alongside the main author Iris Krampitz, journalists, employees from press offices of leading solar companies as well as social media experts have a say in the handbook. A prepublication edition of the book will be presented for the first time within the scope of this year’s Intersolar Europe at the fair stand of the PR Agency Krampitz. Thanks to the financial support of the Federal Ministry for the Economy given to the agency for being an innovative company, the agency is able to participate in the world’s largest solar fair for the first time as an exhibitor.

“Many companies in the solar sector are not at all aware how important sustainable press relations can be for believable market communication”, says Iris Krampitz, whose company has been concentrating on public relations for renewable energies since its foundation in 2004. “With our handbook, we want to contribute to raising companies’ awareness for strategic press relations and for dealing with journalists.” The handbook should appear in the fourth quarter of 2011 and can be ordered directly from the Press Agency Krampitz.

The first edition will be updated every two years.
