Hanwha SolarOne, a global provider of photovoltaic solar solutions and flagship company of top-10 Korean business enterprise Hanwha Group, has expanded its European portfolio with a polycrystalline module featuring a black frame and a black backsheet: the HSL 60 Poly – Black Edition.
Designed to meet new aesthetic standards as well as the rooftop segment's efficiency and yield expectations, the new module incorporates the recognized high-quality features of the latest Hanwha Solar module generation, the HSL series, which was successfully introduced in June.

Designed for European Conditions
The HSL 60 Poly – Black Edition incorporates the Hanwha SolarOne portfolios high-durability features and has been tested and certified to withstand snow loads of up to 7,000 Pascal (~710 kg/m²) as well as wind loads of up to 4,000 Pascal (~210 km/h). On cloudy days, the modules demonstrate one of the HSL series highlights: the weak-light performance is exceeding 96 percent of Standard Test Conditions (STC) efficiency at 200 W/m2, which is among the best in the industry.
Furthermore, the module features high transmission anti-reflective glass that comes with improved self-cleaning functionality to ensure optimum solar exposure for the solar cells.
To further benefit Hanwha Solar customers, the HSL 60 series offers a smaller and lighter design, thereby enabling easier installation and reducing costs for warehousing and transportation.
A full set of international certifications, including Ammonia and Salt-Mist, confirms the high quality requirements of Hanwha Solar. The modules are backed by a 25-year linear power warranty and 12-year workmanship warranty.
The new HSL 60 Poly – Black Edition module is available from our European warehouse as of November.
