Higeco More provides monitoring systems for a 30 MW photovoltaic portfolio in Italy

Higeco More, a company in the development of advanced turnkey solutions for the monitoring and control of renewable energy assets, announces it has successfully completed the supply of monitoring systems for a photovoltaic portfolio of approximately 30 MW managed by a primary international investor based in Milan and particularly active in the Italian market with a pipeline of projects under development of approximately 1.1 GW.

The portfolio includes about fifteen PV plants distributed across the Italian peninsula and is characterized by a strong non-uniformity of existing devices. Thanks to the flexibility of Higeco More’s monitoring systems it was possible to standardize the data collected by dozens of different devices produced by different manufacturers. In addition to inverters and weather sensors, Higeco More’s innovative solutions can indeed monitor also energy meters, general protections, interface protections, and many more devices in the field.

In about one month it was possible to complete the supply of all the fifteen monitoring systems for the entire portfolio, promptly resolving some important technical problems affecting the O&M operations. The entire portfolio can now be monitored using one single management platform, thus facilitating the work of the asset manager.

“We are pleased to have taken up and won this technical challenge which was particularly demanding and which others had already failed to face” comments Marco Poloniato, Founding Partner and Sales Manager Italy at Higeco More. “We will continue to provide our skills and experience to all the investors and asset managers who are now looking with growing interest at the expansion of the Italian renewable energy market”.
