IBC SOLAR expands its portfolio to include another module manufactured in Europe

IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic systems, has expanded its IBC PremiumLine to include the polycrystalline module IBC PolySol ZX. The new module, which is manufactured in Europe, is particularly durable and especially suited for use in PV units designed for businesses supplying their own electricity.

The IBC PolySol ZX series of polycrystalline photovoltaic modules is the ideal solution for any installation area and safe yields. Thanks to the anti-reflective coating on the low-iron front glass, the modules capture even more light and thus are more efficient and produce optimum yields. Continuous quality assurance and process audits – from production all the way to delivery to the customer – guarantee a particularly long service life of the modules with a maximum of output, efficiency and reliability. Produced in Europe, all IBC PolySol ZX modules come with a 10-year product and 25-year performance warranty.

The sturdy aluminum hollow-chamber frame of the module can be clamped either on the short or long side. Thanks to these variable installation options, IBC PolySol ZX can also be combined with the flat roof mounting system IBC AeroFix. This way, it can be used in the broad field of commercial self-consumption. In the commercial self-consumption model, the PV power generated is primarily used for internal consumption. This model implies financial benefits for the system operator: the proportion of PV power used for internal consumption does not have to be taken from the public grid. Thus, the system operator does not have to buy this amount of the electricity from the energy provider. Rising electricity costs further increases the benefit of self-consumption. Small and medium-sized businesses in Germany currently pay between 15 and 19 ct/kWh, and the electricity price has risen continuously in recent years. By contrast, entrepreneurs who start operating a PV system for self-consumption today, and implement efficient modules like the IBC PolySol ZX, can rest assured that they produce their own electricity for the next 25 years at consistently low prices.

Like all IBC SOLAR modules, the IBC PolySol ZX has also been subjected to an extensive series of tests in IBC SOLAR’s own quality control laboratory before becoming part of the portfolio. This includes long-term load tests in the climate chamber as well as tests with flashers with integrated electroluminescence measurement. Furthermore, IBC SOLAR certifies solar module manufacturers according to a comprehensive catalogue of criteria. Manufacturers who have the "Certified Supplier" test certificate comply with highest standards, for example in quality management. Employee management, working conditions and environmental protection are also taken into account in the assessment process. In addition, all incoming goods are verified according to a process related to DIN ISO 2859-1.
