Under the agreement, ISC Konstanz will continue to support Suniva’s 1 GW PERC cell production lines in Georgia for the next year. The scope of work includes efficiency and yield improvement, evaluation of technology upgrades, and other cooperation topics jointly developed by the parties.

This extension builds on the successful collaboration that began in March 2025, when ISC Konstanz helped Suniva optimize its PERC production lines, improving throughput and product efficiency.

“Our nation’s continuing focus on energy security and reshoring critical manufacturing infrastructure places extreme importance on the need for domestically-produced solar cells. Our extended partnership with ISC Konstanz ensures that Suniva can continuously improve its manufacturing processes and respond rapidly to market needs,” says Matt Card, President of Suniva.

Lejo Joseph, Project Manager at ISC Konstanz, adds: “We are proud to extend our cooperation with Suniva. This long-term agreement highlights the strength of transatlantic partnerships and underlines the importance of German equipment and expertise for building a resilient U.S. solar supply chain.”

The extension of the ISC–Suniva partnership further supports U.S. domestic content goals, leveraging proven PERC technology with a strong foundation of German manufacturing equipment.
