This new certification guarantees that Isofoton modules are manufactured in the European Union through periodic inspections of the firms Malaga based facility.
Such inspections guarantee that Isofoton uses standardized materials in its production process according to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certification. In addition, these annual audit inspections verify the proper administration of the firms quality management system, which is certified according to ISO 9001.
The European Manufacturer Certification enables Isofoton to comply with GSE requirements, insuring compliance with Italys current Conto Energia IV plan, Italy's renewable energy law in force since June. The Italian government has implemented this measure which provides an additional incentive for investors in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
