JDEnergy, a global leader in distributed energy storage solutions, has successfully delivered a 4 MWh C&I energy storage project in Oldenburg, Germany. The project marks a significant step in JDEnergy’s ongoing expansion in the German market and supports its broader deployment plans across Europe.

The energy storage system is deployed at a local injection molding factory. With the its stringent requirements for operational continuity and electrical safety, JDEnergy delivered a distributed, modular smart storage solution designed to address these challenges and unlock a viable pathway for energy transition in traditional manufacturing.

The installation comprises 16 eBlock-250 units. As one of the JDEnergy’s flagship products especially designed for C&I applications, the eBlock-250 adopts a fully modular architecture that simplifies installation and reduces balance-of-system costs. The system integrates comprehensive battery, grid, and environmental monitoring system, enabling functions such as predictive fault diagnostics, real-time status visibility, and intelligent maintenance alerts.

Once operational, the energy storage system supports on-site PV consumption and dynamic peak-valley management, delivering multi-dimensional benefits to the customer:

Economic benefits: Through peak shaving and valley filling, the system helps reduce electricity costs while creating additional economic value from optimized load management.

Safety and reliability: The system serves as a fast-responding backup power source, mitigating voltage dips, frequency deviations, and short-duration outages. This ensures stable and reliable operational support for energy-intensive manufacturing processes.

Environmental impact: By enhancing renewable energy utilization, the system contributes to local carbon reduction goals and supports more sustainable industrial development.

The project demonstrates JDEnergy’s technical competitiveness of the energy storage solutions while providing a model for advancing green manufacturing in the region. JDEnergy has established a local office in Germany to support localized operations, including sales, service, and technical support. With an integrated portfolio of intelligent energy storage solutions covering all major energy storage scenarios, JDEnergy aims to serve Germany’s more than one million SMEs as well as wind and solar power plants, helping make every kilowatt-hour greener, more efficient, and smarter.
