Jetion Solar supplies 50 MW of solar modules to Myanmar’s largest PV project

The 50 MW Minbu Solar Park is reportedly the largest solar project in Myanmar to date.

The project features Jetion Solar JT PAg high-efficiency polycrystalline solar modules, CTIEC – China Triumph International Engineering Co Ltd – is providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services, and SMA inverters.

The 200-acre project is under construction and expected to be connected to the grid in June. Its annual power generation is expected to be 87 million kWh.

“In the northern part of Myanmar, where the PV project is located, the performance and stability of solar modules in extreme high temperature conditions are very important,” said Zhao Honglei, senior vice president of Jetion Solar. “[The fact] our client chooses Jetion Solar as its partner proves Jetion Solar’s high-efficiency and high-reliability products are fully qualified and bankable.
