JinkoSolar Plans to Grow its Energy Storage Business in 2023

JinkoSolar is ambitious to grow its energy storage business in 2023 after it planned a certain capacity in battery storage BESS deployments across the residential, industrial & commercial, and utility-scale sectors.

This combo platter tends to arrive in courses. Solar has long been the gateway to ESS because increasing solar PV installation means a serious upswing in energy storage demand to solve its intermittency and be more grid-friendly. Battery storage for renewable energy is an attractive option for utilities, commercial & industry, and households. In 2023, JinkoSolar’s ESS business will be poised to gain ground.

In 2023, JinkoSolar will make a serious effort to become a more important supplier of energy storage. “Over time, we think the demand for our energy storage is going to be at least as high as the demand for our solar PV panels,” Dany Qian, VP of JinkoSolar said. “JinkoSolar’s core concept is to make the solar energy as independent, non-intermittent, and self-reliant as possible, and to have a JinkoSolar-powered building or grid.”

JinkoSolar does not only tend to push the existing solar customers who have already bought in to buy more, but also to attract new customers focusing on wind, hybrid, or other energy sources.
