KSTAR’s BluePulse Series Achieves TOR A Certification and Is Now Officially Listed in Austria

The TOR A (Technical and Organisational Rules, Part A) outlines the essential connection criteria for energy generation and storage systems in Austria. Certification is a prerequisite for integrating such systems into the public grid and a mark of quality and reliability recognized across Central Europe.

The tested system configuration includes the KAC50DP, a three-phase hybrid inverter with 50 kW AC output, and the BC100DE, a modular lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cabinet with a scalable capacity of up to 102.4 kWh per unit. Together, they form a flexible, robust, and outdoor-ready solution for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, including peak shaving, backup power, and self-consumption optimization.

With TOR A certification and prior successful testing at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), KSTAR’s BluePulse system is now officially listed and ready for deployment in Austrian energy projects. This strengthens KSTAR’s position in the European storage market and provides system integrators with a pre-certified, high-performance solution that shortens project timelines and reduces compliance risk.

“Achieving TOR A certification confirms the technical maturity and market readiness of our BluePulse solution. It shows that KSTAR is fully committed to delivering compliant, robust systems for the DACH region and beyond,”said Valerie Zhu, Country Manager DACH at KSTAR.
