The Residential National Rising Star award honors new SunPower residential dealers in North America that joined the SunPower dealer network in 2015 and have demonstrated exceptional customer service, premier system design and installation practices, as well as expert solar knowledge and leadership. SunPowers best-in-class dealer program supports a network of more than 1,200 solar installers worldwide, with approximately 500 located in the United States.
In 2015, Legend Solar grew 400 percent, increasing revenue from $3.7 to $18.3 million year over year, as solar became more mainstream in the state. According to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Utah became the seventh largest solar state in the United States last year, up from 23rd place in 2014. The company is now expanding beyond Utahs borders, introducing service to areas in the greater Rocky Mountain area, including Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Montana and Idaho in the coming years.
