As a global leader in solar technology, LONGi will actively participate in this premier global climate conference with a suite of deliverables. The 12-day agenda is structured around six key action pillars, encompassing energy, industry and transportation; forests, oceans and biodiversity; agriculture and food systems; cities, infrastructure and water resources; human and social development; and cross-cutting issues.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement. At COP30 in Brazil—a pivotal platform for building global consensus on climate governance—LONGi will adopt the theme “Green Tech for a Shared Future.” The company has planned a series of events focusing on climate action, biodiversity conservation, and just energy transition. These activities will highlight LONGi’s continued leadership in technological innovation, energy equity, nature-positive initiatives, and localized conservation efforts.

Climate Action: Release of the “2024–2025 Climate Action White Paper of LONGi ” – continuously disclosing LONGi's progress in operational emissions reduction, low-carbon transition across the value chain, and its climate action roadmap.

Energy Equity: Participation in the completion ceremony of the UNHCR Brazil solar power donation project – demonstrating the real-world significance of green energy in enhancing the resilience of vulnerable communities and promoting energy equity and sustainable development.

Nature Positive: Release of the “2025 Biodiversity Conservation Report of LONGi” based on TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) recommendations – Integrating natural resource risks and opportunities into the core of corporate strategy and leading the industry in aligning with international disclosure standards.

Local Conservation: Participation in the “Protect the Amazon” Rainforest Ecological Conservation Project – strengthening the protection of globally critical ecosystems through on-the-ground actions and conveying the company's commitment to ecological responsibility.

Zero-Carbon Transition: Organization of the “Beyond Solar, Building a Resilient Zero-Carbon World” themed event – providing in-depth interpretation and discussion on the technology landscape, business models, and policy recommendations needed to achieve a zero-carbon vision.

Li Zhenguo, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of LONGi, stated: “The essence of climate action is a profound revolution centered on the energy system. LONGi’s mission is to make green energy an affordable, stable, and widely accessible solution for all through continuous technological breakthroughs and innovative models. We look forward to collaborating with all parties at COP30 to accelerate the realization of this zero-carbon vision.”

Since its first appearance at COP24 in 2018, LONGi has participated as a representative Chinese photovoltaic enterprise in seven consecutive sessions of the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties. During this time, the company has introduced the “Solar for Solar” initiative, released the “China 2050 PV Outlook” and the “Climate Action White Paper of LONGi,” become a global partner of the UNHCR, launched the “Zero-Carbon Life Plan for Pandas,” and played a significant role in advancing sustainable development both in China and globally.

During this year’s COP30, LONGi will engage with partners and stakeholders from around the world to explore how to overcome the energy “trilemma” over the next decade and build a resilient zero-carbon world. The company will continue to contribute its green energy solutions to support Global South countries in achieving their net-zero goals, offering a “Chinese approach” to global climate action and promoting a just energy transition worldwide.
