The Group will be attending FieragricolaTECH 2025 from January 29th to 30th in Verona, showcasing its latest advancements in areas such as biomethane, agrivoltaics, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Ingenium is committed to balancing global decarbonization efforts with the preservation of natural ecosystems. This commitment drives its development of agrivoltaic projects. However, “the changeable legal framework has made the company's objectives more challenging, as we must now consider a wide range of new specifications,” said Francisco Soriano, CEO of Ingenium. He added, “Ingenium's pipeline is successfully adapting to these regulations, achieving key milestones such as the approval of several projects of our portfolio.”
A notable example is the Acquapendente project, with a capacity of 37.16 MWp, which recently received positive evaluation from the Italian Government. This accomplishment reinforces Ingenium's ability to develop environmentally respectful facilities, such as the Aprilia 2 agrivoltaic project, which supports both agricultural continuity and energy production and the added value of the energy storage.
Davide La Piano, COO of Ingenium, remarked that “Thanks to our vertical integration in the value chain, Ingenium also takes on the challenge of adopting innovative technologies, such as our recent alliance with Endurance Motive to integrate BESS into our projects. This was exemplified by the Cisterna Agrosolare project, which incorporates 30 MWh of this cutting-edge storage system.” He added, “These transformative gadgets enhance energy independence from external resources and ensure a stable supply, contributing to grid reliability.”
By combining the extensive experience and expertise of its team, Ingenium is poised to make significant contributions to the energy transition while preserving soil health. The company invites you to visit its exhibition at the Palaexpo pavilion, stand E2, during FieragricolaTECH 2025.
