The judges of the Solar UK Industry Awards 2013 have named an inverter by Amsterdam-based Mastervolt as their product of the year.
The Mastervolt Soladin WEB inverter was given the accolade at the recent Solar UK conference.
Mastervolt the Dutch subsidiary of U.S. headquartered multinational Actuant claims its Soladin inverter benefits from having had web user requirements factored into its design from the outset.
In a press release issued by the company today, Mastervolt claims the Soladin WEB inverter is the first of its class to feature as standard WiFi and free online monitoring and is also the first in its class for which firmware can be updated online.
