Mexican Minister of Energy confirmed to speak at MIREC

Jordy Herrera, the Mexican Minister of Energy, has confirmed his participation at Green Power Conferences’ Mexican International Renewable Energy Congress (MIREC), which will take place in Mexico City this May.

Speaking in advance of July’s election, Mr Herrera’s involvement will allow the congress to host definitive discussions on the future energy plans and reaffirm the National Action Party’s support for the development of renewable energy sources in Mexico.

Mr Herrera will be joined at the congress by representatives from the CFE, CRE and SEMARNAT – who will discuss ways of constructing a favourable environment for the development of renewable energy in Mexico.

“Mexico is a world leader in renewable energy development, and we are thrilled that Mr Herrera will be joining us at MIREC to help further advance this exciting market,” said Sophy Searight, Event Director at Green Power Conferences.
