In 2012, the inverter manufacturer Kaco new energy is the exclusive supplier of inverters for Neon Energy, one of the photovoltaic industry’s leading multinational EPC providers. Neon Energy realizes photovoltaic park projects in Greece as well as its other countries of operation being Germany, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus. The two firms met and signed their exclusive agreement at this year’s Ecotec exhibition, which took place in Athens in March, 2012. The agreement includes the supply of inverters of a total capacity of 50 MW for the year 2012.

Within the realms of its services as an EPC Contractor, Neon Energy plans and designs, installs, maintains and finances PV stations in its countries of operation. “Neon Energy secured the supply of 50 MW Powador inverters, as the company is firstly, very positive regarding the development of the solar energy field in Greece and secondly, because the firm believes in the quality and reliability of Kaco new energy’s products and the service support that it provides,” stated Konstantinos Georgiadis, President, Neon Energy.

Since 2006, the German company Kaco new energy has a branch located in Heraklion Crete and a well entrenched sales and service network Greece-wide. “Powador 39.0 TL3 inverters are very flexible in terms of their application and use, as well as highly reliable in terms of their functionality. For this reason these inverters are ideal for Neon Energy’s project portfolio», stated Emmanouil Chatzidakis, branch office manager of Kaco new energy in Heraklion of Crete. Neon Energy installs PV stations ranging from 100 kW in size to many MWs in their capacity.
