Bisol decided to adjust the naming of its PV modules in order to increase instant recognition of the modules characteristics for customers and installers.
The name codes are simplified for the immediate identification of the modules power output and the type of solar cells technology used in the manufacturing process. This will have no effect whatsoever on international certificates and other warranties given by Bisol.
The properties and technical specifications of all Bisol PV modules remain exactly the same. The new name codes come into effect for all Bisol PV modules produced from 1 October, 2011 onwards.
During the transition period, there will still be a combination of both the old and new labelling on Bisol PV modules available in the market. However, all modules will still be perfectly matched according to very specific electrical properties, enabling an up to 70 percent decrease in power losses due to Bisol's innovative module pre-sorting method.
