In 2013, Power-One will host events across the UK, providing free training and specialist knowledge about the company’s inverters and monitoring solutions, including products new to the UK market.

Tailored to the specific requirements of the UK market, the AURORA ACADEMY training programme offers practical demonstrations as well as hands-on work with the products. The programme consists of five one-day training modules: In sum, they cover the whole range of applications for photovoltaic installations and monitoring systems, including certified training sessions for installations, product maintenance and repair, troubleshooting, and safety.

Following the successful kick-off of the AURORA ACADEMY programme in the UK last year, the first events in 2013 will be held in Yorkshire and Devon. The former session takes place in conjunction with the Waxman Training Academy.

Both trainings are free of charge and cover basic and advanced features of Power-One’s string inverter portfolio and its advantages for the UK market. They will include inverters and communication hardware for both residential and commercial projects – from design to installation.

Dates at a glance:

  • February 22, 2013, Elland (near Halifax), Yorkshire: Waxman Training Academy – String Inverters Advanced
  • March 20, 2013, Exeter, Devon: The Park – String Inverters Advanced
