OneRoof Energy, Inc., a complete solar services provider, has announced Dan Halvorson has joined the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Halvorson will oversee the companys financial organization including the corporate finance and accounting operations for OneRoof Energy and its subsidiaries. In addition, Halvorson will help identify and build relationships with institutional investors worldwide, communicating the OneRoof Energy growth story to a broader investment community.

Halvorson has more than 20 years of senior corporate and financial leadership experience. Most recently, Halvorson served as executive vice president-operations and chief financial officer for San Diego-based digital media company DivX, Inc. until its acquisition by Sonic Solutions. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Halvorson managed the risk management function, global strategic planning and modeling, forecasting and cash flow analysis, SEC reporting and key oversight for the organizations disclosure committee. He also served as the principal interface with investment banks, auditors and the audit committee for the DivX Board of Directors.
Prior to joining DivX, Halvorson held senior finance positions at a variety of technology and pharmaceutical companies, including Novatel Wireless, Inc. as its chief financial officer and Dura Pharmaceuticals, Inc. which was acquired by Elan Corporation. At Novatel, he had primary oversight for Novatels IPO process and follow-on secondary offerings.
