Initially, OneRoof Energy will install in-store kiosks at two locations San Diego and Sunnyvale, California to conduct marketing campaigns.
Fry's Electronics, Inc. was founded in 1985 in Sunnyvale, California in a 20,000 square-foot location by the three Fry brothers, John, Randy, and Dave; and Kathy Kolder. Fry's is a closely-held private company, and is one of America's leading retailers of computers and consumer electronics products.
"Fry's Electronics is pleased to work with OneRoof Energy to promote greater awareness of the importance of solar energy," said Manuel Valerio, Fry's Community Relations Manager.
"We are confident our tech-savvy and environmentally-conscious customers will appreciate the importance of solar energy, and why thousands of homeowners are already enjoying the benefits of clean, affordable energy. Solar energy is a great way to save money and help protect our environment, and our friends at OneRoof Energy can demonstrate how folks can do both."
"We are thrilled that Fry's is a supporter of clean energy," commented David Field, OneRoof Energy President and Chief Executive Officer. "The in-store kiosks represent a tremendous opportunity for both companies and Fry's has wasted no time in helping its customers make solar more accessible. With OneRoof Energy's proprietary technology platform, we can offer Fry's customers the opportunity to sign up to finance or purchase their solar system directly online including easy-to-use customization tools that are designed to deliver the most efficient and individualized solar system. We expect this to be a great partnership."
