Onyx Solar will supply multi-functional building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solutions for the Italian market via its renewable energy subsidiary, Enel Green Power.
The agreement signed by Mr. Alvaro Beltran and Mr. Gianpaolo Marsella of Onyx Solar and Enel Green Power, respectively was reached this month after several rounds of meetings in Spain and Italy. Mr. Beltran states that "this agreement is an unprecedented step forward in the introduction of Onyx Solar solutions in the Italian market … a very demanding market, from a design perspective and also because of its rich historical heritage which is now moving strongly towards energy efficiency."
He also continued with the belief that "today is a great day for Onyx Solar as this agreement confirms yet again that we are seen as a key reference point in the BIPV marketplace."
