Pleiades submits an EIS for a 280MW project in Chile

Pleiades New Energy Ventures, a Chilean solar developer, has submitted the Environmental Impact Study for a 280MW PV project (Alfa Solar Project) to be built in Chile´s Atacama desert.

The project will require a USD$560 investment and will have a life span of 30 years. The project intends to fulfill the growing energy demand of Chile's mining industry allowing for a significant increase in solar energy's share in the country's electricity production. Pleiades New Energy Ventures is a PV developer with presence in the Chilean solar market for over 2 years. The company has a pipeline of PV projects of over 400MW throughout Chile´s northern regions.
