In 2014 the energy transition reaches its next level in Germany: Over the past fifteen years 1 million house owners have invested in photovoltaic systems, producing energy into the grid according the feed-in tariff (EEG). Now grid parity is reached and the financial benefits of self-consumption have become the focus of attention.
