RECOM Womens Executive Leadership Program Scholarship
A leading European manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products, today announced that the company is proud to support women in solar with the RECOM Professional Women in Solar Leadership Scholarship. RECOM hopes to encourage women to excel in solar and become active role models and leaders in the field. RECOM Professional women in solar Scholarship recipients will each receive a financial award to attend UC Berkeleys Executive Leadership Program in April 2014. Two female students will be chosen from the applicant pool, and scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of each candidates professional background and demonstrated leadership. Application Process Application review is conducted in February, and finalist interviews will be conducted in-person or on the phone on the last week of February, 2014. Scholarship recipients are notified in early March 2014. Scholarship Eligibility To be eligible, all applicants must: · Be female working in the solar industry for a minimum of 3 years and/or college graduate with an Engineering major GPA of 3.5 in major-related coursework · Be a United States citizen or permanent resident. (Documentation may be required.) · Submit a 500 word abstract on How I will use the skills from the Executive Leadership program to advance solar in the United States.
